Hi guys i found a under dash aftermarket ac unit used for around 50$ but aside from a compressor what else would i need to find at a wrecking yard im dieing in this heat please help

You would need all the rest of the A/C system (I am assuming your car has A/C delete) including compressor and mounting hardware, condenser, hoses, receiver/drier, etc.   You will then need to leak check the system, and have the proper oil and refrigerant added (by a qualified A/C tech using the proper equipment).

I was just thinking about taking the AC out of mine. Just something else to deal with that I don't really care too. My car will be used more for fun in the winter though and maybe on the sand dunes in the summer/fall.

Maybe you and pigonawing should get together and everyone would be happy (I only mean that you should trade A/C parts, nothing else).

It will be a while before I get to that point. Lots of other stuff going on now that summer has reached us. Are you in a hurry to get the AC in yours?
