I took my recently acquired Concord out for a spin today.  The heater sent out a smell that neither my wife or I could identify or describe.  Kind of a musty, mildewy, not quite urine smell.  Anyone have any tips or suggestions on what I should do to fix this?

Nothing easy. Open it upclean it out. Could be a bad mold.

Opening and cleaning doesn't concern me.  Is there anything else I should do at the same time?  Replace the heater core since I have things apart?  Anything else?

i would say heater core cause nothing would make me madder than to have it all apart then put back together to have the heater core go out weeks (or hours in my case) latter
