Nice 87 Eagle wagon listed on Bring A Trailer, located in Brighton Michigan.  Not mine.

I suspect that car either goes for $20k plus or $12k or less. No clue why, that's just my guess.
Otherwise, it seems like a very nice car. Don't seem to see many late production Limiteds. It does look like its sitting low though.

This wagon sold today for $7,600.  Thought it might bring more, but can't say I'm surprised it didn't.

I was going to say the same on it selling. Why aren't you surprised?

From what I have seen over the years, it's pretty rare for an Eagle to be sold for a lot of money, say over $10,000.  Could be that they are not viewed as collectibles, and that the people who do buy them intend to use them as drivers rather than trailer queens.  I think they have been truly driven, so by this time there are very few that are in great shape, and I don't see many people putting a lot of money into restoring them to collectible condition.

Just my thoughts, I'd be interested in what others have to say.

I've attached a copy of the sales history on Bring a Trailer, I'm surprised there were more in the $10-15,000 range than I thought there would be.  Two outliers at the top of the chart.  One was a Sundancer, the other an 81 wagon, single owner, with 3,400 miles.

That makes sense. I was using the previous sales to guess that it was going to do very well.
