hi, had an 82 sedan Ltd.,drove it 20 years, 1995-2015, when axle snapped and wheel fell off. Have an 84 Sedan now, more or less fully restored. also had an 85 wagon for parts.
One friend has an 84 wagon Ltd, and another friend has a hopped up 82 wagon, with Holley Sniper FI, and another for parts. if anyone needs one there is a white wagon sitting in a field in the Jacksonville, NC area.

Including the 2 I currently have, I have OWNED 6. I started w/an '81 Kammback when I came back from Korea. Kept it for about a year & decided I didn't quite like it. Went to the dealer & ORDERED a wagon the way I wanted it in the color I wanted. About 3? 4? years later I'm married & outta the army. Wife wants to start a small business & we needed a pickup. Bye-bye Eagle #2. Fast forward 2009, my wife died & I started getting the Eagle itch. Bought one, was driving it. Plates were ready to expire, took it to a friend for "his mechanic" to fix the horn so I could pass inspection. Few days later I get a call from him, turns out somebody rear ended it sitting at his house. Ins. totaled it. Bye-bye #3. Bought another one, front end (sub-frame) COMPLETELY rotted away, sold for parts. Goodbye to #4. Bought the wagon I have now, driving it. Looking at spacebook market just for something to do. Saw a 4 door sedan same color as the wagon, commented & somehow ended up buying it, so now I have 2 Eagles!

"Bucket Brigade" / St. Louis to Pa. - AGAIN!
Last post by Still Pat - Yesterday at 07:37:51 PM
Am being FORCED to move due to a YUGE ($200.00 - $250.00 per month) rent increase! Have decided to move back to Pa. where I grew up. Plan to rent a 15 foot You-All-Haul & dolly for one Eagle, anticipate extra room IF anybody has something to go that way. No return trip this time. Last year was just for my 50 year high school reunion, this move was NOT on my bingo card! Exact date undecided yet. Will be NO LATER THAN next month! My contract is up Sept. 1st.

4 than I came on hard times. 3 had to go along with my concord wagon.times are much better however I no longer want that many. I still have my 84 sedan pictured in my avatar. Problem with that is it's needing another restore. During warm months I live in 2 areas of Wisconsin, and have little time to do so.

Off topic / How Many Eagles Have You Had?

How many Eagles has everyone had and what was the fate of them? If you've had close friends or family members with Eagles too, feel free to list them.

I have my 86 wagon that is drivable, but an ongoing project.
I had an 85 Limited that was a parts donor for my 86. It was picked clean and then scrapped.

That makes sense. I was using the previous sales to guess that it was going to do very well.

From what I have seen over the years, it's pretty rare for an Eagle to be sold for a lot of money, say over $10,000.  Could be that they are not viewed as collectibles, and that the people who do buy them intend to use them as drivers rather than trailer queens.  I think they have been truly driven, so by this time there are very few that are in great shape, and I don't see many people putting a lot of money into restoring them to collectible condition.

Just my thoughts, I'd be interested in what others have to say.

I've attached a copy of the sales history on Bring a Trailer, I'm surprised there were more in the $10-15,000 range than I thought there would be.  Two outliers at the top of the chart.  One was a Sundancer, the other an 81 wagon, single owner, with 3,400 miles.

I was going to say the same on it selling. Why aren't you surprised?

I suspect that car either goes for $20k plus or $12k or less. No clue why, that's just my guess.
Otherwise, it seems like a very nice car. Don't seem to see many late production Limiteds. It does look like its sitting low though.
