Went to 3 different car shows this weekend. Had a hatch hinge bust as I was getting ready to load up & leave the first one, surprised the 2nd one didn't the way it was twisting & everything as we fought the hatch down & closed! What did I do to bust it? Unlatched it & grabbed it as usual! Was already starting to lift it when I felt the SNAP! Friend here im the local (Gateway AMC) club says he has some, just a matter of meeting up with him & HOW MUCH $$$??? Anyway, I'll just post all 3 albums here instead of making a separate post for each one.

Thanks for the pictures!

I just sold a pair to a Den member about a month ago.  Timing just happened to work out as there happened to be a wagon at the local Pick Your Part.  Fifteen years ago it seemed liked there would be 3-4 Eagles every time I went to a junkyard here in Denver.  Now there are maybe 2-3 per year.

I've heard about them breaking. I was always careful to not let the hatch just "fly" up & stop. I always kept my hand on it & this time it was like no sooner than I turned the key to unlock it & it busted! :censored:

Yeah I know how that feels because I had one break like that and now I need another new one because my right side hinge is cracked on both parts.
