But if one wasn't enough, picked this up Friday.  1964 Rambler Classic 2 dr Hardtop.

I had one just like that back in the mid-80's.  Super nice rust free body, really impressed me.  Drove it for a couple of years and then after I rebuilt the carburetor it ran like crap, blowing black smoke, running rough and stalling.  I couldn't figure out what was wrong so I traded it in on a 77 Thunderbird.  Years later after I did it again I figured out what  was wrong - I had installed the choke spring backwards and the choke was closing as the engine warmed up instead of opening.  Still kicking myself over that one, got rid of a nice economical car for nothing.

I was at the local pick-n-pull recently and saw this hanging on the front of an S-10.  I have been looking for one but not just any type.

So here is is seting in place just to see how it looks.  I picked a pair of driving lamsp off a Cherokee to mount on it once it's in place.  I've got to do a little bit of engineering in the area of mounting brackets.  I need to take a better pic when the sun is still on the front of the car.

I completed the Motorcraft carb replacement from GRONK.  MAN what a difference!  Was going to test drive the thing but the brakes are like mush.  Fluid in the MC is like mud.  Got the new MC bled and installed and now on to bleeding the brake lines.  Unfortuantely when trying to open the bleeders last night I discovered they were covered in dirt and grime and unmoveable.  So some soaking of them with the Acetone/Tranny fluid mixture should help break them loose.  I cleaned up some previous owner's creative wiring.  It's amaxing how many splices some people will put in a line.  Guess going to the store and buying a new spool of wire was out of the question.
