Anyone have a lead on where I can find one of these? Need one for the passenger side (this is the type w/ the ball bearings).

In the meantime I am going to try to remove the one I have and take it to a machine shop to see if there is anything they can do.

ther must be a thread about this somewhere in the forum maybe someone else could help.as i remember you will need two sets of timken 26 set and new oil seals one of them is number 3942 the other one i don't remember. i guess is the 1556 or 1557

I would find a later one with tapered bearings.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

Trying to remember back, I think Jim knows for sure.  You can use tapered bearings in ball bearing hubs.
