Drivers seat only has 1 position. I need to help...

Just drove my Eagle home. It has a bit more work to do though.

The drivers seat isn't latching to adjust except in 1 position. I feet like a low rider when I'm in it. I can't remember if it us supposed to back that far naturally when it's up straight, but something tells me it isn't.

Anyone know how to fit this?

first make sure the side of the base isn't broken.

I forgot to mention it's the recliner. It leans back quite a bit and will catch further down, but not past a certain point.

Probably stripped the teeth. I've changed several. 2 different types. Above the seat line and level with the seat base.

I'm thinking that the seat was pushed back a bit more than it should have been when I was getting them out of the car.
