Outstanding Mr. Shepard, people will read from some locations and still not know what an Eagle is but it will bring smiles to the faces of those who have owned or owned an Eagle and bring memories to those who had them in the past.

I'm still amazed that they are giving the Eagle this recognition.

Good write up, I'm sure it will get some more people interested on the AMC Eagle.
So are we going to have to call you Mr. Shepard from now on?
I like the way he describes us not as collector but as AMC Eagle owners that love the good and bad qualities of our AMC Eagles.
Rick Perry President of The Republic Of Texas,

Enlist in the Texas Arm Forces.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands:

"Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one and indivisible."

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." --Thomas Jefferson

Of course Gil.    Yes, he found Eagle owners a breath of fresh air when compared to other's who think their particular favorite car was the be all, end all of all cars ever made.   AMC Eagle owners (and most AMC'ers) do look at things differently.

Wonderful Article.  I wouldn't be surprised if it increases the value of our cars.
