eagle hunting
« on: December 11, 2013, 02:06:06 PM »
Hello all!
So I've been looking for an eagle wagon, with select track, for the last 8 months or so, checking the internet, local papers and dealerships almost every single day, with no luck. :-[ So now I'll ask the experts on the topic.

Pretty much I want it to be one that i can work on my self, lift it, drop a bigger engine, so on. So my main concern is that i can drive it home and the body is in good condition, essentially rust free, for 2-2.5 grand. I live in southwest Michigan, and would be willing to drive up to 200 or so miles to get it.

So anyone selling or know someone who is selling one in that price range in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois or Wisconsin? Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Well from the sounds of it you have a decent budget and I would think you could find something easily in that price range that looks pretty good! Keep your eyes peeled! Craigslist is your friend. And if you have to you might need to up the distance you'd be willing to travel! Don't lose hope. You'll find something!

... and welcome to the forum.   They tend to be scarce in the winter.  Come spring time they start popping up again.

You just need to go 2000 miles or so! ;)
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

Best way is to set up a photobucket account. There is a link somewhere...I think in the welcome section. But, set up a photobucket account, then up top there is a box (see arrow). Click that, then a popup will show, copy link and paste in the body here.

Drock, it's even easier than that. The IMG code link is found in the bottom of all the link to the right of the pic...gotta scroll down a bit on the photo you posted. Or if you are thumbnail view of all the pics the links are also displayed underneath the pics. Can easily copy the bottom link from that view too.

Stole these pics from Google.

This is the thumbnail view. Copy the IMG code link at the bottom. Paste into the post where you want the pic to display. This photo is pointing to the "Direct Link" which you can copy too, but then when you are making a post in here you have to click the button above the content box here that looks like a picture of Mona Lisa. That provides the img code and then you paste the direct link inbetween the code.

And here is when you are actually viewing a single photo in your photobucket account. Links are found to the right.
