It was time for the annual trip to the Rollinsville Yacht Club near Rollinsville, Colorado, elevation 8,671'. As usual, there was my wife and I in an Eagle ( the two door sedan) and a bunch of fancy cars - Corvettes, Porsches, a Ferrari, an old school Road Runner, and a Firebird.   Also a Fiero and old Bronco this year.

The weather was great and it was nice to catch up with old friends. The Eagle performed great, it was bogging down on a couple hills but a short downshift allowed us to pick up some speed. There was only one steeper hill where that strategy didn't help much and we just shouted out lots of encouragement to make it up the hill lol.
