Hi All,

I've got some time to clean them up a bit ... ::)... Ha  Ha.  I will make sure they will roll without the wheels falling off .... get them staged and ready so there are no surprises. I read the story about some other Eagles you hauled.

Keep me posted .... Regards, Iron Horse ;D

SleepsUnderCars

great. Wheels falling off is a big problem! Do you have room for an 85 foot truck? Ground clearance can be a problem too- trailer sits 6" off the ground, 5th wheel is even lower.
not sure when this will be pulled off, I'm waiting on word from the ECS to see if I will be involved.

Hello Sleeps Under Cars,

There are no radical changes in terrain to the Eagles .... even if we have to roll the cars down the driveway to the main road .... shouldn't be a problem. I have keys for them so the steering wheel can be turned, and titles for all of them. About a week before the pickup I'll pull them out and get them staged, ready to go.

                                                                           Regards, Iron Horse  ;D

Update.........Checked the cars going to the sanctuary today ... they all roll just fine ... and ya won't have any wheels falling off. All the tires hold air, as I buy new tires for my driver I take the ones coming off and replace the older tires with them ... that's my way of rotating the oldest ones out.  Several doors I'll have to wire shut . :-\. they were always a weak point on the Eagles.

all for now, Iron Horse ;D

Mavericke

Not that we've ever had wheels fall off while loading/unloading at a sanctuary... that's unheard of, LOL!

Can't beleive you're still standing by the Blowvada. That's loyalty there ya'll. I second Brandon's opinion, I'd have driven it off a bridge a looong time ago. Or found someone with a nice Dodge to run it over. :P It's too bad I had to scrap my Blazer when it was totaled. The engine was SUPER low miles for the year and it was in perfect shape. I had EVERY problem you could think of with that truck until I finally replaced everything... the last 6mo were awesome. It was almost paid off too. It would be paid off right now and still super low miles. Sad. I hate wrecking vehicles. I didn't even take the brand new tires off of it it I was so upset.

Anyways, glad these Eagles are finding a home! I want pictures!
Its got style... its got class...
It goes the extra mile... and still kicks @ss.

Just off topic for a sec here... I had no idea what you guys were talking about - A Bravada.  I thought it was a joke name.  Like Fire chicken - instead of Firebird? (no offence to Firebird lovers out there)

So I looked it up... there was a limited amount (and only one generation - 3rd Gen.) offered in Canada.  No wonder I've never heard of it.

Sorry, I had to post that.... Back to topic....

back off topic cause I have done my bravada home work ;D First gen bravadas are 80's style s-10 blazers with lots more options standard and a different front grille.  Gen 2 are 90's blazers with a "smart" 4 wheel drive system that is computerized (and seldom works) also the same "fully loaded" options with different grille and head lamps, the final gen bravada is pretty much a fully loaded trailblazer with some olds emblems.

the only reason I keep this stupid thing on the road is honestly because it is the most comfortable road vehicle I have ever drove a long distance in (Mavericke knows this fact as well) :P

Hello,

I got the four out in the yard ready to go ..... the fifth does not have the half shafts installed so I'll get some hardware to keep the hub together ... just wanted to let you know there will be a fifth if you want to take it .
looks like 3 of them could be made roadworthy the sedan and the '81 wagon , probably not ..but they have good parts.

talk to ya later,  Iron Horse  ;D

We would all like to see photos of the cars staged and ready to go.  Thank you for helping to save the old birds, eggs on the way.

cut and paste the exact link where the jpg is (click on the jpg, and then copy the address)  then paste it, then highlight the whole link, then hit the 'Insert Image'

All it does is add the img tags.
