Free 1983 SX4
« on: February 20, 2012, 07:56:10 PM »
Here are a coupe of pictures of the 83 SX4 I picked up today.  So far I am into it for under $100.
Thanks to, doc65, for giving me a heads up on the car!
It has no rust issues under the car.  But there are small dents here and there.  Overall, not a bad looking car.
I'll be checking the local Pull N Saves for interior pieces.  Seats, carpet, rear trim pieces have been removed.
It's a low option car.  DL upgrade, AC, and automatic tranny.

It looks like the one on here that was going for free...but where is the sweet lightbar that was on top?

It was here in the free section.  I thought it looked better at his house than mine.   :)   It was the first thing I removed after I got the title for the car.

Good luck with the project. What are your plans with it? Toy or DD?

I'm hoping to get it road worthy again..to cruise around, "the valley."  My nephew has the Eagle bug also...may give it to him as a present when he graduates college in a few years.

I don't understand FREE. Like why not charge something? Guess I'm just greedy...or broke!

I, on more than one occasion, have picked up things on the side of the road with signed marked free just to post them up on the local classified.

I pick up things marked free just because I may have a use for it someday.  My wife hates that part of my personality.  ::)
