What's your Eagles name?
« on: May 05, 2014, 04:03:16 PM »
Ok, I brought this up on another thread when someone was looking for a new name for their Eagle. And figured it would be a good idea, especially for the people looking for their own unique names for their birds.
I guess we could call this a "Directory" of sorts.

I tried to recall a lot of the members Eagles names here, if I got it wrong or forgot you and/or someone please let me know. I will edit this top post to keep it as handy and as current as possible.

Never have thought of a good name for mine. Probably cause of my experience with naming anything. Every time we named a cat or a dog, it would run off. The ones we didn't name, stuck around. So we just called them the cat or the dog. Maybe I should just call it "The Car" hehe

My wife and I have always named our cars. For instance, we had a '68 Plymouth Fury when we were first married that we called "the limo".

For some reason we weren't very imaginative with the '84 wagon . It is known simply as "Eagle". :eagle:

I'll put Ginger up there, if you decide to go with something else I'll change it.
I was drawing a blank on Shanebo's, thank you.

There's a solution to that.... get more Eagles  :rotfl: then you can't just call all of them the Eagle.

As a matter of fact, we did acquire a second Eagle a couple of years ago. It's blue and therefore we named it "bluebird" but haven't publicized it because Shanebo also has a "bluebird" and did have it before we got ours. :eagle:

I refer to my wagon as the "Screaming Eagle"

Not very original but its what stuck, I think it may be a reference to how fast (not) it is......

We haven't named the SX4 yet, I will ask my son and see if we can come up with something, right now we are referring to it as "Rusty"

My wife named my second wagon, '85 base model Thing 1 . So when I got the '85 Limited it became Thing 2.
When we refer to the both of them we call them "the twins" because they are the same color
My wife called the first wagon ('83) "the ugliest car I've ever seen" . It's now a parts car because the metal termites got it.

The 81 Kammback we recently saved is called "Smokey"

the PO smoked a total of 1 million cigs in it, There were 4 piles of ashes at each shift point for each gear when she shifted.

Im not saying anything bad about being a smoker but lets just say every time I drive it I get a contact high......
