Malware attempts.
« on: March 02, 2014, 12:10:55 PM »
Is anyone getting malware infection attempts by visiting here?   I have had some attempts the past couple of days but I am not sure if they are here or somewhere else.  I do not visit a lot of sites so I am trying to narrow it down.

My virus software is detecting and blocking it.  It then asks me if I want to remove them.  It seems to try to attack my computer in about 6 different locations so it can run on its own.

Do they have FF for Windows 8, yet.  Last time I checked they did not have one.

I haven't seen anything yet, but will keep a lookout for anything suspicious. As far as firefox for win 8, I think the windows 7 version may work on the desktop screen.

Pretty sure that's what we use on our Win8 systems at work.

Lol Pat.  Mozilla. But I just got up. Get Firefox and  then add no script. I've seen Windows 8 have a tendency to collect maleware. Get MBAM. I'm willing to help if you want to PM me.

Linux Mint here.  :occasion14:
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

That works too. Not many are comfortable with Linux.
