I was looking into getting jackets made before the International Meet this year, but it proved too expensive to have a company do a mock up for just one jacket.  I have a guy here in Papillion that can do a variety of styles of jacket for a reasonable price.  The expensive part seemed to me to be the set up for the art.  Of course the more jackets that are ordered the cheaper they would be.

I really like that Petr.

Cool looking jacket!

If anyone get Eagle jackets and other stuff like caps etc with orig. logo made, I'll take 1 (or 2) of each item if prices are not "insane".

Dear friends !

This jacket was flying with me the last year on international meet in Gallesburg and that time was still "clean"  ;D. I let to embroil here in company which do it for different clothing. I put sample from leaflet which you can see on pics. Price of embroidery was here about $30. I´m sure you have also company like here. I guess with shipping from Europe would be quiet expensive. But anyway I can look and choose  some suitable jacket and arrange it, if you want.

Very nice Petr!  I hope to have your shirt in the mail Friday.  I have three European orders to send out.  I was waiting for some medium shirts to arrive as one of those is going to Norway.

So did the clothing company just make a template from the picture in the brochure or did you make that yourself?  Sorry if this is a question that has already been answered.  I am having a hard time figuring it all out.  Out of my element here.

They made a template by themselfs from the brochure. They made a copy and reduced size. But I don´t know how. Only I know they used computer somehow.

Okay, sorry I had to clarify.  My mind must have been wandering at the time.  I might have to find that photo and take it to one of the places here in town and see what they can do.  Do you mind if I copy your idea?  I thought about doing a jacket with the logo from the banner, but a solid color like you did would be less expensive I imagine.

Petr that is on cool looking jacket!!  Is it a denim material?  My AMC club has a windbreaker type jacket with a big AMC logo on the back
with your car and name on the sleeve.  It cost $130 Cdn ea.

The Dakota AMC Club has a jacket.  It is a bowling style jacket, and then they do embrodry (spelling?) pictures of your car on the back.  I tried to see if we could use their same supplier, but it did not fly.

83Eagle!  Of course I don´d mind - I would be glad if anyone likes this idea and will follow. And if you´d have troubles with size from banner, I can take leaflet to my work tomorrow and make a copy (probably two halfs) and If you will send me fax number, where I could send it by fax - no problem. You will get original size.

duane2171  No it´s not denim but mostly cotton. And it´s bought in C&A. (I don´t know if you have this kind of shops, but it´s European network with sport and fashion clothing)

Now I realizing I have original reduced size which on my jacket, because they gave me this embroidery separately. And what is good - with right shading, so I´m able to make a copy of right size at the moment, when I´ll be close to copy machine.

Brandon, you can go to Sapp Bros. There will probably be a charge to receive it, but they should have a public fax there. You're needing permits & stuff faxed a lot when you're on the road. Any truck stop should have one. Also would expect any bigger chain motel/hotel to have one. May even try an office supply place they probably would have one too. Don't know what you have in your area, here we used to have a Kinko's. They got bought by Fed Ex & were Fed Ex Kinko's for a while. Haven't looked lately.

Okay I think the Office depot by my house can get faxes too.  I will have to check nest time I am out.  There is a FedEx Kinkos in my area too.

Good luck! A lot of places nowadays have public faxes. Shouldn't be hard to find one.

It'll get better. I've kind of kept my mouth shut on your stalling problems because I don't really know what to say. I will agree with checking/replacing the ign. coil if you have a spare ( known good ) laying around. Common problem on lawn mowers ( I know not the same thing, still an internal combustion gasoline engine ). They quit when hot & start right back up after they cool off. Personally, would not sell/trade the Eagle for the other thing, but that's me. It's yours, do what you want/have to. Part of the reason is I've always been a V-8 fan. Never cared for 6 in a row & you're losing two of those plus going to FWD. Sorry, just not my cup of tea. Give me a V-8 rear wheel drive any day. As I said, that's my PERSONAL opinion. Not trying to tell you what to do. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Can Petr get a copy of the file the shop used to set it up?...if he could i'm sure emailing it would be better than faxing it.

I give my jacket to my sister-in-law in small town and she let to make it. I live in capital and here we have all very expensive. (I guess we are most expensive city all over the world  :( , at least in Europe). But if you will send me your addresse, I will make a copy on copy machine the next week and I can put it to envelop and send it to you. No problem. My private e-mail is in my profile.

That would likely work the best if you could email me.  Most of the graphic places here have an easier time with digital copies of stuff.

I started a poll to see if there is enough interest to look into making a bunch of these jackets for 'Nest members.  Please vote....

http://forums.amceaglenest.com/index.php?topic=34684.0

If there is enough interest I will get some ballpark bids and some style options and start other polls to get this project off the ground.

I know we'll have to pay a setup fee for the jacket.  Then the price per jacket will depend on how many we order.

I know this is a bit off topic but have any of you ever seen the original official Eagle Jacket?
