The AMC Eaglepedia can now be accessed using the buttons found below  This is a comprehensive ever growing archive of information, tips, diagrams, manuals, etc. for the AMC Eagle and other small bodied AMC cars.

As a follow-up to this I bought another set of the same aftermarket boots and left them out in the weather for 8 months. Sitting on a shelf at least the rubber doesn't deteriorate anywhere as bad so it's likely another issue I'm running with the aftermarket parts in that they ARE correct fits but they are NOT designed for full-time use as opposed to a few miles a year, plus rolling on and off the trailer.

I bought a set last summer as well but kept the original ones because it was just a torn boot caught early.
They seem to be fine however I have noticed the rubber is already showing signs of cracking. You can buy new inner and outer boots but the process to replace them basically requires you to overhaul the entire axle shaft.
