1980 Concord Saved - Two Years Later
« on: August 27, 2011, 05:02:48 AM »
Seems like only yesterday I was posting the "One Year Later" update:

http://forums.amceaglenest.com/index.php?topic=32851.0

I blinked and another year has slipped by.  Only minor progress has been made and it still isn't on the road.

Unfortunately the original topic from two years ago is gone, so I don't have the pictures from back then to show as a reference.  Here are a few pictures of how it looks today.

Lookin good!!

Although it looks like there is some front end damage to the bumper on the driver's side.  It looks like the bumper is pushed in just a little.  Is that true, or is my eyes just playing tricks on me?  ::)

Your eyes don't deceive you.  The bumper is pushed in a bit on that side.  On closer inspection I discovered that it had actually been pushed in far enough to crease the fender, then popped back out as far as you see it there.

I don't know if the bracket is repairable, but if not I have another set of them.
