Title: -stopping by woods on a snowy evening-
Post by: jim on August 21, 2010, 04:35:41 PM
-with apologies to Mr. Frost.
WonderEAGLE based her painting on a photo we took as we brought our "new" Eagle home
from Philadelphia to Little Rock.

Wow that is absolutely awesome.  I love it.  I wish I had talent to paint.  I can't even draw stick figures correctly.

I second that .... that is truly awesome, the trees, the hills, the snow drifts.  lots of detail in the piece, something that truly deserves to be hung on the wall and displayed

It's so Eagle expressive!! (Does that make sense?)
Can we archive the painting on the AMC Eagle Nest Member Art board?

I would love to have an artist's rendition of my Eagle.  Then I could have them touch up the paint issues and actually be able to see what I want my Eagle to look like.

Gee thanks everyone. I love to paint, but never have been able to do as much with it as I would like to.
I just decided that everything else is going by the way side and I am going to throw what is left of me into art.
I'm honored that you like the painting.
Thanks. :)

Carolyn

My dad used to paint & my niece does ( at least she hopes to be able to again when her finger heals ). One of the cats killed the camera, all I have is the phone. I could try to take some pictures with it. Don't know how they'd turn out. Small I'm sure, big enough to see, I'm not sure.

I hereby declare that WonderEagle is the the official oil on canvass artist for the AMC Eagle Nest.  (I hope I got the medium right).

I think an oil on canvass official artist is a good idea since AMC Eagles are renowned for their ability to apply oil based liquids on about any surface.

I'll second that notion.
