UPDATE!! the brakes now work had to oil the sliders on the front rotors and my leak was a bad line that went across the rear axle.  Just got back home from buying a new aux trans cooler, some new steel lines, and a gas tank repair kit.  I have found a brand gas tank for my eagle for around 150 bucks from one of the distributors at work so that is on the "buy list".  so tonight I should have an eagle that runs, charges, moves and stops with out leaving any trails ... I'm stoked

I try to be reasonable; I'm in a form of customer service, so I know what it's like.
However, when it comes my turn to be waited on, I consider my issue every bit as important as anyone else's,
and if they don't have time to deal with it they need to correct their shortcomings.
I have been treated exceptionally well at the NAPA store I frequent.  It is at the state warehouse.
I have also walked out, with some others, when it didn't look like I would get waited on in a reasonable time.
To be fair, every other store I go to sometimes has the same problems.
I'm right 98% of the time, and I don't care about the other 3%.

I am sure there are some that deserve kudos, but not the guys in Papillion.  They do not have turnover.  At least it has been the same guys for the last 6 years.  I know a couple of the guys have been there for around 20 years.  I just do not like a place that immediately assumes you are an idiot and argues with the customer like these guys do.  I especially lost it after arguing with me whether my Geo has auto locks and that a remote state would magically make it have auto locks.

When I went in to ask about supporting the AMC Eagle Nest Meet, the guy laughed and walked away from me.  I have nothing against Napa as a whole, but seriously I do not see how they say in business with tatics like that.  I also went in there for a part for my Eagle once and I had just talked to them on the phone about the very part.  When I got there, not only did they say they didn't have it, but they told me I should have called first and to stop wasting his time.  Note: I was the only one in the store at the time.

THE UPDATE!!! i got the tank installed that i picked up from Mav, went to start it and no gas.  Searching for my problem i found that my fuel lines are in pretty sad shape so i went about replacing them.  Everything going smoothly i get the new fuel lines on and the car started again.  feeling good with my progress for the day i decided to call it and mess with the wife's SUV some more.  While under the SUV (going nowhere) I look over to the eagle to see a drip.  Upon investigation i need to install new brake lines as well (BUMMER).  So Now I have an eagle the purrs like a kitten but will not stop to save it's life ........ My lord cars are fun  :P

it is slow progress but it is coming along.  Right now I have to contend with getting my new daily driver on the road before my pickup finally fails me (trans been slipping for about 4 months) I am hoping to have the eagle on the road this fall, but I am not rushing it just making sure that everything is perfect

what a bummer, I was looking over the eagle today and i found the worst possible thing that I somehow overlooked.  Inside the right front wheel well above the boxed frame A ROT HOLE!!! this is the game changer for the wagon and throws me way off my estimated finish time.  I checked the left front wheel well and in the same place it's scaly with rust but no hole yet.  It looks like i am going to have to get the car indoors and remove the  front suspension and do some digging (literally) and make a few patch panels then undercoat the living heck out of it.  I am going to start working on a jig table to strap the eagle to so that i can easily support the car and go through the entire underside without laying on my back.
