Look what followed me home!
« on: February 11, 2014, 03:39:40 PM »
Almost every day I look at Ebay and search CL nationwide for Eagles, not that Im buying any, I just like to look, and dream I suppose. Of all things an SX4 shows up 15 miles from my house!!!

Its an 82, 6 Cly 4 SPEED!!!!  Has AC, PS, PB even tilt wheel!!! A super nice couple owned it, it was her fathers and he had passed away last year. Came with an extra Tcase and even an extra radiator, the hubcaps are in the back and two spare taillights too.

It also has one of those Offy intakes with a Holley carb set up

Very dirty, been sitting a long time, brakes are shot, gas tank is toast and the clutch is inoperable too..... but that's all stuff I can fix and I have the spare pieces (somewhere in a box if I can find them)

But we poured some gas in the carb and it fired right up and ran very good!!

No big dents and very little rust, just some surface here and there. Of course there are no bumper end caps, there never are it seems....

Went halfers with my Son, he drives a Spirit, so its a matched set!!

Congrats!
Very lucky in that it was so close too.
Can't wait to see it lookin' as good as your wagon.

Cool! We can always build some custom bumpers for it since the end caps are near impossible to find.

Almost like it over the Wagon I found.. Only because It looks like the shell I have. I have Interior pieces if you have need. I was only using it to trade into my Kammback..

How cool is that!!! Excellent score.  Congratulations.

I think that wagon that is currently in the Denver junkyard has some decent front bumper ends.  Let me know if you want me to pick them up for you.

Anybody ever tried to put spirit or concord bumpers on one of these.

It would be like to 80 models I think

I have an extra set of bumpers and end caps that are the 1980 style

Might see how that looks
