These guys were making rockers, but I don't see it listed on their site. http://autorust.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=11

hi just got a right side rocker from rock auto, they only have three  more and no more left side. part is for 2 dr hatch, not my sedan, but bought it anyway  (I also have a 79 Spirit, and a 78 Concord AMX, and a 77 Hornet AMX (for sale btw) Stupid question: why is there a left/right rocker? looks like the same piece of sheetmetal, just flipped over.  I also have an 82 Eagle 4dr sedan that is soon to be retired. Terminal rust, hence the push to get my 84 together. Our 82 was purchased in 94, and has been, and still is a daily driver, first ten years by my wife, 2nd ten by me. Had it fixed up nice! New interior, vinyl top, trans, .040 over 258 with 2100 carb , DUI ignition, CD changer, etc, etc. Even in 94 when I bought it, the inner rockers had a few inches of rust through, always meant to fix it but never got around to it. Point being, this car doesn't owe anybody anything, it's been well maintained, but not pampered, and it made it 20 years! with hopefully one more to go while i fix up Eagle # 2. It was also a Limited, meaning all the bells and whistles 1982 had to offer, including leather seats!  Anyway, back to the rockers, the 82 reached a point rust wise beyond my ability to fix. I fixed the floor in 02, using POR 15 and fiberglass mat. Held for over 10 years! and in 04 I did (finally!) something smart. (Very unlike me!) I put subframe connectors on it, because I could see by then the rockers about half gone, and the structural integrity of the car was mostly gone. I noticed some other posts asking about subframe connectors. You don't have to buy them, it's easy. I had my local jack-of-all-trades mechanic cut some square stock (I think 2 inch) but you can go any size you like, scrape off the old underbody coating from the front and rear subframes, and simply weld the pieces in, "connecting" the front/rear subframes, maybe not elegant, but it works, this 82 is still today my daily driver, and it has NO rocker panels left, and more or less no floor on the passenger side, but still rides solid. A true warrior  'till the end. It will be a sad day when The Mighty, Mighty Eagle #1 is decommissioned sometime next year. ok anybody got a left front fender?

Is there any way you could post pics of the subframe connectors? I feel sorry for you guys in the rust belt. I couldn't handle looking at my pride and joy rusting away.
