How many states have you driven your Eagle through?
« on: December 10, 2014, 10:05:12 AM »
I found this map where you can pick what states you have visited. I decided to list the states I visited or even just driven through only in my 86 Eagle. I've been to more states in other vehicles, but just wanted to share the ones with the one Eagle. My goal is to visit or drive through 49 states and some of Canada with it. Of course, Hawaii is off the list unless I hit the lotto. I would love to go to Central and south America some day, but too much of a chicken with all the safety concerns. Here's the link to create your own. http://m.maploco.com/visited-states/

One state and two countries (BC, Canada but I hope to cruise to Alberta this summer with it)
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

You definitely have me beat.  The furthest I drove my Eagle was to the Midwest International Eagle meet, and traveled in only about 8 states....Rich

My job requires travel and when I can, I drive instead of fly. However, I put my notice in and the gas will be on me now, so I might not be doing much driving next year.

I myself haven't driven my Eagle in any states...though I guess I drove it on the trailer in Kansas and around the Block a few times in Missouri. It has been through Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado on a tow dolly and the previous owner bought it in Texas and moved to Ohio so I imagine it's seen Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Ohio as well. Soon I hope I get to drive it the rest of the way through Colorado and into Utah!

Eaglefreek, that's very cool and very impressive. And thanks for starting this thread.

Recomer, what do you have against Nebraska lol?

I've driven Eagles only in Colorado, but since I have two Eagles, does that count as two states  ;D ??

I drove through Nebraska years back. That was a LONG day. Wasn't going to do that again.  :)  Actually just wasn't in the path I was taking. I was in Maine and was driving my daughter out to Montana. I left the Eagle there with her for a year, then we drove back east (I'd since moved to Virginia) and took a more southern route.

Ha! Actually just haven't had the need to drive my Eagle south...yet...I've driven through most every state in the nation except Alaska and Hawaii with other cars I've owned.

So far the only state I have driven Rosalind in would be NY, or more specifically Long Island. Shows how much I get out.  ::)

I was just thinking about this yesterday. This will be the biggest regret of selling my Eagle. I was really looking forward to reaching my goal. Oh well.
