88 final edition back on the road.
« on: July 30, 2015, 12:06:52 AM »
our 88 final edition eagle is back on the road after sitting in a small portable garage for 5 yrs. 5yrs ago the oil pump drive broke while my wife was driving it. didn't have the money or the time to do anything with it,so it just sat for the next 4 yrs. then when my # 2 son needed something to do for his senior project, he asked if he could rebuild the engine while he was in auto tech. it had to be something he hadn't done before, so they said he couldn't do that. they did accept it when he proposed to do a major modification to the engine. and that was to do a 4.0 head conversion, using a jeep head, camshaft and exhaust. I,ll try and post some pics of the car and the engine as he rebuilt it.
