Eagles in construction zone
« on: April 23, 2012, 06:27:25 PM »
After 50 years, City of Houston is lowering the street next to house all the way to Brittmoore to help with flooding. About 3 feet. So parking my fleet sort of tough at moment but thought some of you might like these photos.

Very cool photo's. Hopefully dust and debris don't damage their paint.

I think you're right maddog. That looks like a Matador headlight in the first picture.

I forgot I posted this but been battling flu like cra*p for about 9 days now, my 2 petrie dish boys brought this stuff home from school. No, no damage to paint, yes, tons of dust so I nightly spray down yard to help! I had washed and dried all five of them this day and was paying dearly for it, especially chest. White car is 82 Eagle, 210,000 miles, blue Concord woodie is 39K mile original car that has never left Houston, dark blue big wagon is Bessie my 72 Ambassador SST wagon, 154,000 miles, beige car is 79K Hornet Sportabout and maroon car is wife Paige's 88 Eagle wagon,#1050. Here is another photo off my site:

 http://www.planethoustonamx.com/Photo_Gallery_AMC/winter2011.jpg

the orange 81 Eagle in that photo is now up in Ypsilanti, MI it was my 4cylinder, 4speed wagon, got 25-28 miles per gallon. NOT SHOWN in construction photos are: 68 Rebel convertible Machine

71 SC/360 Hornet (now with 0 miles)

74 AMX shown in here:

77 AMX shown in here, it has been sold to nice lady in seattle who I am allowing to make payments on it, so car still here:

http://www.planethoustonamx.com/my-amcs-for-sale.htm

and I think I got all of them, the Ambassador parting out is my 367th AMC have owned since 1976, and have driven nothing but the fine cars of AMC since then, so no brand x anything. And most of my cars are driven daily, or weekly!
