Email sent... Don't mind my goofy Cobo San Lucas Margareta induced smile... It was -42 back home that day...
-
It seems our list starts to grow up . :)
-
I will have to go look now.
-
Again the new member in Eaglepedia is welcome. :) :) :)
-
Petr, thanks for doing this.
I do think the condition of my Eagles should be downgraded somewhat.
I would make the 83 "Good", and the 88 "Very good".
On some days that may be exaggerated.
I just wish they were excellent.
Thanks again.

This for all, who wants to join us to Eaglepedia project. The first I want to say thanks to all who did it. Please who wants to join, try to send two picture. The car and yourself. Because when you are together with car on one photo, you are not seen very well, because pictures has to be resized from big to smaller.

Regarding the condition of my Eagle.
It starts right up on the coldest days - Excellent
It rescues other cars from snowbanks - Excellent
It hauls all the stuff I need to for work - Excellent
Actually, it is in good condition. Little rust, broken window cable and a sagging headliner.
-
Petr,
Where do I find the pics of eagles and owners?
Eddie
-
In the Eaglepedia Eddie. We will be looking at some image galleries to add to the forum so they may be moved there when we do that. Will make Petr's job easier.
-

I'm new to the nest and have a few pics I would like to share. How do I post my pics here?
-
You need to use a third party image host. Many here use photobucket as it is free. There are other free ones too. You upload your images to your host and then post the link to each picture into a reply here. We have a tutorial in the New Members Board near the top of the forum index page.
-
Tahnk you very much for the info. I'm going to give it try. I should have a few pics of my SX4 here soon-thanks again
-
You are welcome. Let us know if you need a hand.
-
I wrote up this little instruction and keep it on my desktop so I can copy and paste it.
In your Photobucket account, hover over the picture. This brings up a menu.
Put a check in the box next to img_xx, immediately under the picture or pictures.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on
Generate HTML and IMG code.
Click in the third box down from the top. This will select everything in the box.
Right click and select Copy. I don’t know for sure this is necessary;
selecting it may copy it but not being sure I always Copy.
Go to your thread, right click and paste.
Click on Preview, and if satisfied click on Post.

Okay, I've managed to convince this :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: piece of :censored: :censored: :censored: VOMPUTER to co-operate (FINALLY). Here are the two I currently own. '83 wagon (FORMERLY Brandon's - '83 Eagle). The sedan is an '84 I picked up up in Wisc. Both 258s & automatics. I don't recall exactly now, but the sedan only has 7x,xxx miles on it. I WANNA say around 72,500 approx. but I don't trust my (LACK OF) memory.
-
Two PREVIOUS Eagles I've had here in Misery. Have actually owned (including the two I have now) a total of 6. The first I bought new. Had an '81 Kammback, after about a year I decided I wanted a wagon, so I went to the dealer, sat down & ordered a wagon speced out as close as I could get to what I wanted. Traded the Kammback in. No pics. of either. The flat black one was my first Eagle here on The Nest (now known as "The Den"). It got rear ended & was totaled by the ins. co., I then bought White Eagle as a replacement. When I took it in for inspection, the ENTIRE front subframe was rotted away!!! That was when I bought THIS wagon from Brandon.
