Thermostat housing bolts

does anxbody know what size the Thermostat housing studs are ? On my Barnfind Eagle they are long gone

No idea what size they are. Sorry. When i replaced my thermostat housing, it cracked. I went to Car Quest. they had it in stock. Their computer probably cross referenced it with other 258. Car Quest has since been taken over by advance auto. They just might have them in stock.

From my parts books:

The upper is a bolt; 5/16 x 18 -- 2.25 inch long

The lower stud is 5/16 x 18 - 0.5 inch long on one end; 5/16 x 24 - 0.6 inch long on the other end; 1.38 inch total length.   Of course you can use a 5/16 x 18 bolt in place of the stud.
