Rollinsville Yacht Club 2012
« on: September 30, 2012, 10:11:38 PM »
We made our second annual trip to the Rollinsville Yacht Club today, its just outside of Rollinsville CO.  See details of last year's trip here:

http://forums.amceaglenest.com/index.php?topic=36746.0\

There was greater participation this year, since it did not snow the night before like last year.  Two Ferraris, four Mustangs, two Porsches, a Firebird, and an Eagle.

We took a little different route this year, leaving Lakewood CO on US 6, up Highway 93 through Golden and continuing north, then Highway 72 through the foothills up to Rollinsville.  We again enjoyed a nice breakfast in the crisp mountain air.  Our Kammback did great, this route had a few more curves which it handled with no problem.  Enjoy the pics!

Some would say your Eagle is a little out-classed amongst that bunch (not me of course).

I'm right 98% of the time, and I don't care about the other 3%.

Yes, didn't you see the inflatable yacht in the last picture?

The Eagle certainly got its share of attention!!

You really wouldn't want it.  Its over 30 years old, needs new carpet, leaks oil, etc.  However, I do have a motorcycle I will sell to you  ;)
