sport gauge cluster?
« on: December 20, 2013, 12:37:40 PM »
the eagle that I'm looking at is awesome. That deep maroon red, 35 thousand miles (ish).  The window accents with the eagle logo are still silver! Its got a great interior, though I think it was reupholstered.  The only thing I can see wrong, is it doesn't have the floor gauge console.  But there's one for sale near me! So anywho, anybody know how to install one? And even if I can't hook it up to work, I'd slip it in for looks... Is that an easy installation?

That one is for a Spirit or Concord.  Post a Wanted topic and see what turns up.

Ours look like this. BUT there is a difference between the auto trans and manual trans consoles.
Oh and there are ones with and without gauges as well. The one out of my Sport didn't have gauges, so not all Sports had the gauges in their consoles.

Haha. I know what it looks like. For some reason the picture wouldn't come up before.  There's a parts car that has the gauges (for manual so it would fit) nearby so I could grab it. So still, any idea how to install it?  I think it looks way to plain without it.

Mine didn't have gauges so there was really no install lol. So can't really help you out there. There were a couple of screws that held it to the floors but I didn't reinstall them, it's a pretty snug fit anyways so it stays put pretty well. Maybe someone that has the gauges will chime in on how they installed.
