Title: Pictures disappear
Post by: iAMCheap on April 21, 2010, 07:52:58 AM
I was a little upset this morning when I went to look up "How to Fix a Headliner".
There was a great post put up a while ago.
Now it does not contain any pictures.
Is there any way that the nest can have its own PhotoBucket account so the pictures that are important can be never lost.
Or some other solution?
Tony

We are in the process of establishing a Nest gallery.  I have asked the staff to take a look at a couple of products.   Its my fault for not getting everything into the Eaglepedia as I should as most images there are on the Nest server.  Perhaps I need some Eaglepedia helpers?

I have some time off. Is it hard?

Not hard -- if I can figure it out it can't be that bad.  Just time consuming but then I edit too to kind of make them easier to read.  I will have to check if you have full user rights in the Eaglepedia.  I will let you know.

*cough cough* I remember someone suggesting this a long time ago and even offering to help maintain it! Hey, I'm just glad we got a new look I had been pushing for, LOL!

There are ways of doing this and running them directly from the Nest's server. Where people can upload and copy and paste just like they would on photobucket or something similar. Might have to change carriers though. The one I'm most comfortable with costs $20 a month for unlimited bandwidth, server space, and even an online store.

In the meantime, contact the person that created the post and have them fix their images. Usually this happens when someone starts organizing their photobucket accounts, lol!
