I wonder how many people stroll down the parking lot when you guys are there.

I think most of the hotel guests the weekend of the meet are Eagle owners! :)

The Rambler Ranch is privately owned car museum and iirc during the meet Terry pretty much has it reserved just for the event.

The museum is made up of several buildings on the Rambler Ranch estate. This private museum may be viewed by car club members by having the president of your club contact Mr. Gale and setting up an appointment for your club to view the cars. There are several buildings to tour through in this lovely rural mountain estate. The Nash building was the first one built and the gigantic AMC Building was completed in 2007. It also contains the new “lounge” which is filled with period furniture. You can easily believe you stepped back in time when using this facility. American Motors, Nash, DeSoto, Dodge, Chrysler, Edsel, Chevrolet, Ford, Renault, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Kaiser, Studebaker, Wolsley Packard, Fiat, Mercedes, BMW, Vauxhall, Lincoln, Mercury, Allstate, Opel, Jeep, Bricklin Funwagon, Citroen, Pontiac, Acura, GMC, Honda and more are represented in the museum. This facility offers a unique opportunity to car fans of all ages. Food Services are available upon request. There is a lounge inside as well as a outdoor area with many tables and chairs. The museum not only contains hundreds of cars but thousands of various types of memorabilia. Visit the Rambler Ranch website for more information at www.ramblerranch.com

lol No, but maybe that's where they got their name... no clue there.
Allstates were only made from 1952-1954 and sold thru Sears, Rhoebuck.
You can read all about them here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allstate_%28automobile%29

A car sold for 2 years at a department store.  That's great.   I assume they went under real fast and were absorbed by something else, like everything else not GM, Ford, or Chrysler.  Thank god for Wikipedia, I like reading up on weird things like this.

Actually a Kaiser rebadged as an Allstate and sold only at Sears.

Allstate Insurance was originally owned by Sears, but was spun off in the 90s.

Anyways, the Rambler Ranch is something that should not be missed.  Pictures do not do it justice, you have to see it and experience it first hand.

My grandfather bought his house through the Sears catalog back in the 1920's.

That's awesome.  Imagine buying a car or house from a department store now.

I am very excited about the Eagle Motel trip this year, I am working on 3 more Eagle's than I took 2 years ago so if I have enough drivers I will take 22 cars. Roger ( Rambler Ranch mechanic ) is planning on bringing 8 cars.  I also have a new place to tour that I'm sure everyone will enjoy. So far we have people coming from 6 states! I hope we get a few more, you have plenty of time to get your cars ready for the trip to Colorado. I have reserved the motel for October 11th and 12th. We will leave Rambler Ranch on Saturday morning about 10AM. Lets make this the largest gathering of Eagle's ever! We had 35 cars 2 years ago, I would love to see close to 50 this year. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Terry
