They weigh more than the stock ones do and they don,t seem too be the grainy pot metal like the originals. I looked and they are 24.99 now -- still not a bad deal. just do a search on the popular sites you will find them.
I will have two original passenger handles when i swap them out.-- pics soon.
casper I think we are pretty close to each other.

Oregon is a big one! I was thinking shipping wise we are close. I am going to look at an 83 eagle in a junk yard this week I don't know what body style it is they just list it as an 83 eagle. I will be pulling whatever is good off so i will keep you in mind--A set of handles and a left window for an sx4.

Well all the handles are on now it took about fifteen minutes each. I took some pics for comparison. The new ones weigh a lot more than the originals and are not grainy pot metal.I am pretty happy with these hinges.

And these two right handles still work but one spring is missing.

And I found the build sheet in my driver door!

Just have to post that it's awesome there are handles that are NOT pot metal cause I'm getting REALlY REALLY annoyed with my door!!!  I am on my second handle on the drivers door and have to go get a third.  So I will be searching for the ones you found (really excited at the thought of not having to lean over the front seat from the back to open my door).

search for ---1987-06 JEEP WRANGLER 1/2 Door Outside Handle-- look for the ones sold by parts pros.
Only the right handles say "made in Taiwan" not the lefts ???

The right handles go on the back door of wranglers to so maybe there is more demand and the company gets them from a different manufacturer.

one thing you might want to note is the cheap plastic bushing/retaining clip that is different from the original metal/rubber clip, this will be a weak spot, similar to some gm products where the internal linkage comes loose in the winter, just my thoughts on that.
