The Concord is on its way to body shop!
« on: June 10, 2013, 11:24:45 AM »
Here is my Dads 79 Concord, it runs and drives very nice!

We stripped it down and removed everything we could get off of it for paint!! Took it this morning to the body shop

Hope to get it back, put all the stuff back on and have it ready to drive to the Auburn AMO Nationals, my Dad really wants to take it, he has a 67 Rouge Convertible that is cherry, but the Concord has ice cold AC and makes for a better long drive car!!

Wish us luck!

thanks, here are before pics

(that's my Dad)

By the way, in case you are wondering, it had a smashed fender so we replaced it off our "Parts Spirit", we also went ahead and added the "Power Bulge" hood since the trim pieces on the original hood were kinda yuck (or missing)

Painting it all black, we did the door jambs and inside the trunk and hood already, hopefully we will get it back sometime next week

Not a lot of time to get it ready!
