Show Spring 2011 CZ
« on: April 19, 2011, 03:01:34 PM »
As you know I had a problems with my Eagle to start her to go for annual meeting. I´m  looking forward for this day all years. But I couldn´t start car. Tried evrything I could because night was drawing near. Even to charge battery thru the night didn´t help.
Anyway now I know problem. One part of battery is wrong and when I wanted help by other car´s battery it couldn´t help, because all energy was absorbed by wrong part. But as we say here "Everything bad for something good". I went by our Chevy Silverado and....GOTTA CUP. What a surprice. It was special awards
for good looking car, and for car which is lonely, or almost lonely on our roads. So here are a few pics for you as evry year. You can see - there were very beautiful and interesting cars.

I am glad to hear you got it sorted out Petr.  I kept thinking it was some kind of battery related problem.  Congfats on your award for your very nice Chevy Pickup!

Congratulations on the award Petr, sometimes something good emerges from a bad situation.
Maybe you can find an Optima redtop battery in CZ, they seem to cope well with moderate use of the car.

Looked it up, it's a 1954 Ford Crestline Sunliner.

Cool,  I like those early 50's Fords, they look so goofy,  kind of like out of a cartoon.
