Chrome trim mounting
« on: April 21, 2017, 10:05:39 PM »
The chrome strip above the license plate is missing on this one. White Eagle DOES have one. How can I remove it to re-use it? Cold & wet this afternoon when I went outside & didn't have the keys (to EITHER Eagle) with me to open the hatch. Since White Eagle is TERMINALLY ill, I'm getting what I can from it.

There are a couple screws that hold it in place.  Easy peasy
1981 Kammback 258 - "Pepe"
1980 Coupe 258 - "Ginger
1972 Gremlin X 304
1978 Gremlin 4 cyl 121 - sold
1964 TBird 390 - sold

Found it! 3 screws underneath the edge. Why is the center tab always busted?? ;D The strip I pulled off White Eagle was & the missing one on '83 Eagle was too. The tab was still under the screw when I unscrewed it!
