Clutch Master Cylinders

Hello, I am currently running my Iron Duke Kammback with the clutch master cylinder from a 258 Eagle. Scanning through Rockauto, it seems like that site believes that a stock Iron Duke master cylinder would be 3/4" or 13/16" bore while the 258 had a 11/16" bore. A larger bore on the master cylinder would decrease the pedal movement necessary and my Kammback does shift a little closer to the floor than I'd prefer, although it certainly works fine as is.

My 151 Eagle is currently using the entire clutch system from a 258 Eagle except for the pushrod. The pushrod from the old Iron Duke slave pulled right out of the rubber boot and right into the rubber boot of the new 258 slave. The difference in length between the pushrods is the only difference I could see.

Can anyone here confirm or deny from a reliable source what the clutch master cylinder bore size should be for these options? All of these should be nearly identical.

I'm afraid the AMC parts books don't specify the size (bummer); but if the part numbers will help ID the diameter thru a cross-ref somewhere, here they are:

1) 1980 151 Iron Duke Spirit -- 5359822 or 3236757 (mid-year change)
2) 1981 151 Iron Duke Eagle -- 3236757
3) 1982 258 Eagle -- 3238493
4) Late 1983 150 AMC 4 cyl Eagle -- 3238493

Of course add a "J" to these for the Chrysler version.
