I took that vinyl off. It looks much better in pic that it really is...

I was considering to discard the original headlining fiberglass panel due to its toxicity and because it is slightly broken.

Could you help me, or give me instructions to do the same with my Eagle?

I re-attached a new headlining cloth but if not fixed correctly and now I am planning to repair the panel prior to glue again the cloth.

Could you send me information about the fiberglass rebuild?

Oh, this needs some updating...

Recent pics...





Transmission had heavy oil leak, so I bought an aluminium pan. It is made here on local foundry.



Bought a "new" manual gearbox... What might be the new motor?



Inner lining as new..  It is sagging now because of weak glue and resin fumes.  >:D  :censored:

hi, so, a V8 conversion eh? that is VERY ambitious! it has been done, but successfully only 2 or 3 times. Putting a V8 into an Eagle is VERY difficult, not like any other car. A better way to go, would be to put in a late model 4.0 stroker. This engine will actually fit into an Eagle, and a good 4.7 stroker will have more power than the average AMC V8 anyway.

Well, you sure have me curious as to what is going to happen next lol.  When I read the part about the Eagle power plant welded to the cart.....i thought you were going to make a 4 wheel drive cart!

nothing is impossible or too difficult...



Motor is pointing now 5 cm higher than six and it is 4 cm to the right... six is 1,5 cm.
 Javelin oil pan brought engine little bit lower than Jeep oil pan...

Right side needed some crossmember modification, because of oil filter... Driver side uses stock crossmember.

V8 and transmission are almost ready to be placed to the engine bay...


Carb needs to be cleaned and kick down is missing... I have got  it...  somewhere...



New coil and resistor... and sand blasted pulleys, they were very rusty.
Never seen so bad ones... rust mud and alot of paint... (yes, this was a CJ Jeep  motor)
New AMC Spirit water hoses... and something else new... can´t remember all.  ;)
