Looked at a wagon today
« on: March 03, 2012, 03:30:01 PM »
Had a guy tell me about a wagon (not his) that was for sale before & not sold. Gave me directions, went & looked at it today. Nobody answered the door, left a note with my name & number. Looks a little rough around the edges, didn't crawl under it with nobody home. Interesting, NO roof rack. That's the way I wanted mine. Didn't see any trim level markings, looked like a split bench seat (IF that was an option on Eagles). Am interested in knowing more about it. Hoping they call me. Waiting for my phone to send the pictures to Photo Bucket & I'll post them up here.

Pictures finally loaded!! See below:

Pop riveted fender flare?? Only saw 3 out of 4 Eagle mudflaps. Chintzy hubcaps.

Looks like duct tape on the door. Don't know why???

Only VISIBLE rust I noticed.

No roof rack, I "LIKE"!!

Trailer hitch.

Rear window wiper broken, picture didn't load yet. Have more pictures, still waiting for them to get to Photo Bucket.

Okay, try this. Never done an album before. Not sure if I copied the right thing or not. It's the last batch of pictures, white one.

Interesting looking wagon.  I think most of that crud on the paint would come off with a good washing, plus Maguire's cleaner, polish, and wax.

Could be pretty solid.  Hope they call you back.  My Eagle had rust like that by the windows.  My body guy and I pulled the windows and found a lot more that had to be repaired.

That's FAWESOME!

AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

Unfortunately, that's NOT the one I looked at. That was at The Zone one day back in Misery when I went to get some parts.

Just got the last 2 pictures onto Photo Bucket. Basically side views of the whole thing. Thought I had another one of the rear wiper busted off. Guess it didn't take.

Here are the pics of the wagon 1OldFordMan looked at.  (Pat, don't move them in photobucket and they will remain here).

Looks pretty solid to me overall.  Needs a good bath though.  I don't like the hubcaps myself, but I think I might have a set Pat could have that are stock Eagle.  I'll have to look in the shed.

Thanks for the offer Brandon. That was something I wanted before for the one I have. That one will DEFINITELY need a bath. Looks like it's been sitting quite a while, look at the rust stains on the whitewalls. Not to mention all the crud on it.
