radio memory wire 88 eagle

88 Eagle din radio what color wire is for  memory radio works ok but every time you restart the engine you have ton reset the preset channels  Any Help ?

I ended up having to run a wire from the back of the stereo to an accessory port on the fuse box (aka a constant hot) that had nothing plugged into it.

I can attach the harness info from the original stereo. it should be attached. I installed new stereo and used both the ACC wire and the battery wire and the memory worked. I would guess its the battery wire that feeds it when the car is off.

I also made this diagram. The right side which I have labeled harness shows the cars wiring coming into the harness (fron right to left) and the wires from the original stereo (left to right).

Ignore the wiring that I have labeled stereo---that was the new stereo
