Where does the tailpipe hanger go

Ok so wife and I are stumped.  The tailpipe has a hanger mount.  There are hangers for it (new old stock on eBay right now.)

I can't find where on the body this would connect.  Been looking all around back there and just don't see it.

That's certainly a place to mount one, and if we can't find the factory location that will surely be helpful.  Still wondering what the two hole tab on the walker tailpipe goes to but that can just be a mystery. (=
