Done some Spring Cleaning yesterday...
« on: May 12, 2011, 06:18:15 AM »
After sitting for a while, my Eagle needed a good cleaning... so yesterday I took her to the alignment shop first,

(she's been flirting all the time with the alignment machine, they both are Americans on a "Roman Holiday" ;) )

then, I took some new pics after a good wash (as usual, sorry for the quality but I took them with my phone).
It's been a while since I posted pics of the car, I thought it was time for an update:

Oh, really ? I guess that's why I need BOTH rear bumper corner caps now. Doh !

Nice looking Eagle.  Looks like you had a good day yesterday too.  We had 75 or so and sunny.  So I think the Eagle has more character than those little cars I see in the background.  Are you getting many looks and questions?

Tons of looks and questions ! ;)

I posted some stories here, it's quite an unusual car and people are very curious about it. In the whole country there are no more than 5 Eagles (mostly wagons, and 1 sedan 4 dr as far as I know), They all "live" in northern Italy, though, because the official european importer used to be in Switzerland (the famous A.G.Keller, where most of our euro Eagles come from).

In Rome, where I live, mostly nobody ever saw an Eagle before. It's funny: I live in a 6.000.000 people city with some 2.000.000 vehicles, and there's no car like mine ! The bad part of it is that I can't hide... ;)

I have (or had) about the same problem here in So. Cal.   It seems that all the Eagles in the USA are in the mid-west and eastward.   I have only seen or heard about a hand full of Eagles around here, and I have owned most of them!

Thanks for the new pictures!   As they become older and older more folks take notice even in areas where they were once fairly common sites.
