Changing hood release cable.

Finally got back to my Eagle Project.
Been virtually untouched for 2 years.
Spent the better part of the day changing door hinge bushings and re-hanging the door.

My next step is to change and install my new hood release cable.
Worked my way back from the front of the car and got to the place where I need to remove the handle. end.

HOW DO I GET TO THE BOLTS?

I lowered the tray, removed the under steering columnshield.
How do I go about removing what I have to of the dash board to get to the mounting bolts?

My back and llegs are not what they used to be, and I am not a contortionist.
Anyone willing to give me a basic step by step on what I have to remove bafore I damage something?

Help would be appreciated.
I want to get this car back on the road.

Been buying parts for 2 years, and kept getting side tracked.
Now I have a vision of driving it again.

...and 7/16" box end IIRC. The tray should be all you have to get out of the way.

Removing the front seat will save your back and it is only 4 bolts if they are not too rusted. My back is bad and it is just not worth the pain to me.
