Getting Air!

(1/2) > >>

Prafeston:
Just checking out some Eagle photos on Google images and found this cool one. Wish it was in hi-res!

casper:
my thought :  THIS IS GONNA HURT!!!!

BANG!!!

bent upper arms, destroyed bumpstops, shock valves blown out, bent inner fenders/spring perches.

basically, BAD JUJU!!!

Prafeston:
Yeah, but it sure looks fun. And made for a great photo. I'd totally rock that as a desktop background if it was hi-res!

rollguy:
I flew my Jeep Cherokee years ago in a tough truck competition, and exactly what casper said happened- and worse!  I got about 8 feet of air and came down with a bang.  The trans case broke along with 3 bent wheels, and the fan in the radiator.  I can't imagine that the Eagle in the photo fared much better...Rich

Budwisr:
I've gotten my Jeep Wrangler air born occasionally, only a foot or so, but have never damaged anything. It's never had so much as a front end aliment yet still tracks straight and true. I doubt the Eagle in the picture suffered much if any damage, assuming it was in good shape to begin with. Now 8 feet of air on a hard track , that's a different story. ;D
