Fort Snelling Park with Ella the Eagle
« on: October 11, 2014, 07:44:35 PM »
A beautiful Minnesota day with fall colors bouncing off the sun's rays.
This was a chance to take the 87 Eagle out for a few pictures. Fall is my favorite time of year with the crisp air, foliage changing, and colors just wow me. Ella purrs like a kitten and just doesn't miss a beat. Most proud feature for me is the AMC factory STOCK Eagle rims. (were also used on Jeep Cherokee) Engine is quiet, responsive, yet you know when you fire up that 258!
Enjoy the pictures:

Well I couldn't beat the price on the marchal's. NOS pair, NOS factory fog light switch and wiring harness for $40. Better bargain and clean, sleak look compared to $300+ for used.  Saw a pair on the bay for $750 once.  So I'm proud! Plus better than aftermarkets in my book. Plus no repaint on this eagle. The Eagle is a pure survivor.

HEY Billman! Ella the Eagle is in Bloomington now stored up for her winter's nap! (I cannot wait to get a 'winter Eagle' like I had a few years ago). Ella's a true survivor...I love her! It would be cool to meet up with the cars! Take it ez!

That is a sweet looking Eagle there. nice work on the engine bay. I myself have never been good on the detailing art, but our Eagle "Harry" runs better than he looks
