WHAT RIMS FIT?
« on: April 30, 2012, 01:07:33 PM »
I am having a difficult time finding any kind of reference to what vehicles have rims/wheels that would be interchangeable with my eagle. Does anyone have a complete list?

I don't know if there is a complete list anywhere, but most Cherokee Wheels will fit. Some require a spacer in on the back if you want the center caps to fit.

Not all XJ rims fit. I tried the wire wheel looking rims on the front of my kammback. It bound up on the caliper or the ball joint or something. The wheel would not spin once it was tightened down. They can still be used with wheel adaptors, but not without.

The XJ style that looks like it has holes drilled in it is my favorite. All of those work just fine without spacers.

The best way to know is to scan through threads here on the nest and look at what rims people have installed on their Eagles.

Yeah, there is a big difference in what will potentially fit the 5x4.5 bolt pattern and what will actually fit and look good and work properly in the wheel wells. Backspacing is key.
