Those are special bolts, so could I get them from any ol hardware store? And you drilled your hub? Do they really rub that much?

Sorry about all of the questions, but I wanna make these work!

Update 2/17/11.

Car has been used as my winter driver, and is holding up real well.  I did manage to install the Jeep rims along with new tires as well (P215/65/R15).  So they're a little wider than normal and make the car look a whole lot better.

Unfortunately, I do not get very good gas mileage. I've done several tests, and each time it averages right around 11-12 mpg.  I know that I don't baby an engine (I'm a teenager, as some would say it is the reason for the bad mpg)...but then why would my Concord average around 16 mpg with the same driving habits?

As of right now, the car is at my buddie's shop getting a new valve cover put on, as the old plastic one was terribly warped and leaked oil everywhere.

I've also repaired all of the body damage from the previous owner and the incident with my friend, and it turned out real good.  I've also added a pair of driving lights and an aftermarket tachometer and a few other extra goodies.  It has come a long way since September when I bought it, I'll take some pictures of it tomorrow for you guys to see how it looks today.

Unfortunately, now it need a heater core.  :P

What I did it take a garden hose, take off your two heater core hoses, flush it with a little pressure on both holes. Then, you will see a bunch of dirty water flush out. Replace your heater core valve for they do go bad. They are available at Auto Zone for $50.00. I thought I had to replace my heater core and NOPE! Good as brand new and it blows HOT HOT HOT!!!!  Jayson

The wood grain must have been replaced.  I can't imagine original wood grain looking that good.

My friend who owned it before me dropped something on it when it was sitting.  He used it to keep his stuff on/in, like a storage bin. It sucks, but I can live with it

I believe so as well. I notice that on the driver's side, the woody woodgrain trim has been taken off (it's bent and damaged in some places)  So maybe it was?  I don't think it's a newer paint job though, as my hood has seen better days.  I do know that it was in an accident, so maybe the whole driver's side was repainted only?

I'll be honest, I never really cared for the woody wagons. But I really like the look of yours. Maybe it's because I'm not used to seeing the wood being in such great shape. Yours looks brand new.

Thanks  :)   My dad used to own an '84 Woody Wagon, but it was brown instead of blue.  It looked pretty cool, except over time after sitting outside it all started to flake off and then it didn't look so good anymore...lol  ::)  But I can see what you're saying

Are those things on your fenders those anti-deer whistles?  They gave me a great idea.  I think it would be really cool to install hood mounted turn signal indicators like those on my 64 TBird.  You can see them in this picture, which I grabbed off the internet - this isn't my car.  Mine is black and not available for photos right now.

I found these on amazon, and they might be a real nice addition to my car, given the color and the black accents I have going.
