Title: mountain Eagle test # 2
Post by: papacarn on February 28, 2012, 06:19:47 PM
Do you know how to turn a shepard into a bird dog?
Put them in a Eagle.   I hope these pictures turn out better.

Much bigger. I believe that is the size of the photos I usually upload. They require scrolling to the right a bit to see it all.

I especially like the chain going to the front end loader   ;)

Yes, the loader probably needed extra traction that only the Eagle could provide!

I figured the chain might get referenced to. The truth is, the engine had a noise that was louder the more load that was put on it, so I set the brake, put the transmission in drive, and used the chain for extra safety as I searched for it.It was a deep click under pressure, almost like a rod, or piston cracked at the wrist pin, but the AMC gods smiled on me as it turned out to be an exhaust gasket just under and behind the idler pulley bracket for the air compressor belt. It will be a pain in the a-- to replace, but don't want to risk a wraped valve. As far as the picture test, I simply used the 775 pix width suggested by our own Iowa Eagle before uploading to photobucket. Happy motoring!
