Rocking the AMC 2.5L
« on: October 28, 2017, 09:04:51 PM »
Not in an Eagle (my new to me Comanche) but I have a question about the 904 auto. Did they ever put the notch in the bell for the crank sensor used in the jeeps? I want to make mine auto so it’s  easier to drive with my messed up hip. I haven’t got a core trans yet.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

I barely remember making this post now. Anyone have a parts catalog? I have a 2wd ‘87 Comanche shortbox with 2.5L and 4 speed (3.55 gears that suck too!)

I’m curious if the 83+ AMC 2.45l motor mounting brackets are the same as my Jeep 2.5L ones.  If they are, SOTE may get a new heart transplant. (The 4.0L we converted was scrapped by the idiot I thought was my friend)
