The merge, Tittles and jpegs on the ROTM page to reflect each Eagle past 2009 tp present, and some updates on link lables as to reflex the real sight one is going to, right now, as pointed out by members who I have let see the new site
have pointed out to me to which either I have changed or a list was given to my soppurt team.
Many members have seen the new main pages, without logo and some things not active, the new main pages with
proper tags logo linence info should be up in 2/3 day, it needs some tinkering from feedbacks I have gotten.
In the next week or so, the forums theme will move to wordpress/ with SMF 2.0.4, still it the backround with all its history attached, so we have as close as one can to a complete forums history from creation to now.
Inportant to note both on Eaglepedia and and on forum, first the forum and pedia will change by theme, then history
then Wordpress will become the front end, meaning amceaglesden.com will all be new format in wpress,
All update SMF files, for forum and pedia will remain in tack, but no new entries will be anle to be added to SMF forum or pedia, So when you enter updated site, there will be a new fresh clean Forum like was done at EVOL when first started, if you have a running steam of info from lets say June 2012 to now and so on, you will be able to move a copy
of the thread from SMF to WordPress Forum so people can read help you on you project, but most threads on the SMF side most likely will stay there, they can be read but no edits no adds no deletes unless you copy that thread from SMF old to Wordpress new, so in effect, the Den open to anybody, will contain a libray of what was once the "nest" in its history files and peadia files kept in SMF 2.0.4 format, so any member can go back year or months to find info that might help them. As with the front or present site, will carry new theads some copied fowarded by the user who wrote it, It will and does not feel or work like the Nest or other sites, EBAY CLIST AMAZON can be said on site,
what can't be done is stealing a sale from ebay or clist on this site so one can avoid fee's if members take advantage of this, that member or members will be locked out of the selling trading area, we will try not to ban nobody here ever as it is a open site, but things like trying to bypass rulls and buying here instead of ebay when item is listed as active there can be clamped down on, until those members act like adults, then if asked, privilage can be restored.
Double posting and other neat little tools will also help many people out, if you have a thread posted here and the same thread posted on lets say EVOL, and member names and passcodes match, you post her once ane you post will also show up on other sites you belong to, one place one post. If used right by members, we will be come yor one stop everything site. This is but the iceberg tip, many other features I think you will like, and meets and stuff, updated
