All can think od is this blower on a 4.6 Stroker with a 5 speed. Ol' Erma would probably go fast that the body would blow clean off of the frame....

Rolling chassis - or maybe running chassis.

I am working on an electric super charger of sorts for my SX/4.  I may go with turbo.  I will have to find the sight but there is a turbo kit that fits under the car, Will fit "any" vehicle.

If you still are looking into doing a V8 setup Look at Banks turbo systems they would have everything you need to turbo a V8 and can get you some Crazy power in doing so.

You gotta be kidding, a super charger or a turbo in an Eagle.  Only if you're a part of the go fast crowd.  Which Eagle's are not, usually.

I remember taking an Eagle with a V-8 in it for a test drive. Way to much power, Accel, speed for safe driving.  This was in Illinois about forty miles west of Chicago.  The owner had done a really great job of putting a 360 ci into it.  He used AMC coils from a Concord, dual exhaust, and the 727 transmission.  Extremely tight fit because the engine center line in eagle's is over to the right to make room for the front differential.  The reason the car was up for sale was that the owner's son had accumulated to many speeding tickets.

You do not want to add forced induction of any kind to the 151 iron duke.  The bottom end is too weak.  The iron duke's crank and rods can't handle even NA performance upgrades.  If you put in a stronger crank, possibly.  I am interested to see it either way.  I know people have been adding superchargers and turbos to 258 and 242 inline 6s for awhile and is the best way to really push them up into the high hp range but depending on the trans/transfer case combo you may be blowing those up instead.

Also, if you have access to a VW/Audi/NSU EA831 from the 77-78 Gremlin, 77-79 Concord, or 79 Spirit and get a custom bell made to fit it in an eagle, it could be done.  These engine's bottom ends were turbo'ed in the Porsche 924s and they can take up to 250 hp before they require forged internals.  There are people who supercharged those engines in Porsche 924s also.  They usually start with the NA engine which the AMC version is quite close to.  Probably would have to build custom fuel injection to make it work right.  Perhaps one day I take this on.
